Forklift Academy , also known as powered industrial trucks, are vital to lifting and transporting cargo for construction and many other industries. The course can be taken online from a computer, laptop or mobile device and is completed at your own pace. It consists of interactive training videos, lesson quizzes and a final exam. You can take the quizzes and exam as many times as needed until you earn a passing score.
Once you complete the course, you will be provided with an official Forklift Operator Certificate. This will include your name, date of completion and certification number along with a QR code that is used to verify that the document is valid.
How Long Does Forklift Certification Training Last?
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question as the length of time it takes to complete forklift certification training varies significantly depending on how you choose to do it. For example, some forklift courses are delivered entirely online and can be completed in around two hours. In contrast, in-person training, which includes classroom instruction and hands-on forklift training, can take up to six or eight hours.
It is also worth bearing in mind that if you take an online forklift training program, the results are instant and you can generate a certificate right away. However, in-person training programs can provide you with a more rounded learning experience and access to instructors who can tailor their teaching to individual students’ learning styles.
